You should really try these...
Here's my crust going into the oven (I don't have a square glass pan...guess that needs to go on my wedding registry, huh?).
And here's the filling that will be poured on top once the crust has been in the oven for a little bit.
Yum yum, smells so good! Very lemony.
And here's the final product. I took a picture of them in the tub I brought them to work in. Don't they look good?
Stay tuned tomorrow for the other tasty treat I brought for the birthday bash! I'll give you a hint in the meantime though...while David wouldn't touch these babies with a ten-foot pole, I had to make a duplicate of the other dish so he would be satiated with his own version. Hint: it's his FAVORITE dessert.
I LOVE lemom bars!! I am going to have to bookmark this recipe! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThey were really good!! I wish we had more RIGHT NOW!
ReplyDeleteHAha, this sounds awesome...I'll be having my own lemon tree next school semester, so wil keep this recipe in mind!
ReplyDeleteI am the Sandie for whom Crystal made these delicious, scrumptious, to-die-for lemon bars and these are the very best I have ever had. Hey, I have been around 70 years and I have had a lot of lemon bars but none as good as these. I wish I had some right now.
